"I've never met anyone quite like you."

This is 1/2 of my answer to an unexpected prompt from *helloheath!

Strictly speaking, she specifically asked for Merlin and Freya's kiss, but as I rewatched the episode to collect precious moments, I realized that there are just too many...

In the end, I had to make two of these! I really wanted to draw Merlin smiling all infatuated and happy. Merlin always had a smile for Freya, so cheerful and sincere, even though the world was crumbling around them. I'd be staring at the screen with all my feelings willing him to stop being so only tiny yet so strong, ENOUGH ALREADY CAN'T YOU SEE MY HEART IS BLEEDING OUT HERE (YOU JERK)!

Merlin and Freya's kiss is in the second piece, which I will post really soon! I think it's officially an art trade now between me and *helloheath since she is also making a Merlin piece for me. Oh, I can't waaiiit!!!

Just saying, I probably won't be making this kind of fanart as often from now on, instead I plan on joining the weekly Camelot Drabble challenge on LJ just so I can regulate my fanart time or else it will take over my life! Please expect more original Merlin fanart in my regular anime-style in the future.

Oh my god i hate you so much for doing that ;__;
I can't handle so much cuteness <3 and this episode is so heartbreaking... Do you realise that ARTHUR killed the girl Merlin loved??
